Definition:breaks 027 – A2C – Expression EP
feat remixes by Shakes and INSa241

A new year for Definition:breaks and a new artist to the label in the shape of Spanish hard-hitter A2C (aka Palot). With quite a few releases on Kind Crime, Held II Ransom, and his own label Pandora’s Box already, we are pleased to be unleashing this 4 track EP.....

Both the original mixes contained here are proper heavy Spanish breaks for sure.... Lead track Expression packs quite a punch with its floaty strings leading into the growly drop. Hello Jack is on the darker tip with it vocal samples but still has the jump up elements needed to rock it!

On the remix tip we have Shakes whose tracks and remixes last year were wicked to say the least! – so we just had to bring him onto the label. He takes on Expression and adds rude bwoy vocals, wicked breaks, a rough bassline drop and edits to die for!! This is a heavy remix indeed....
Taking on Hello Jack is INSa241 who is making big waves on the hardcore breaks / nu-rave scene and is well acclaimed for his breaks and dubsteppin hybrid remix of Omni Trio’s Renegade Snares. He strikes new flavour into this track in the same way – mashing up the beats and styles, making the track into a completely different animal. Hopefully much more to come from him this year.....
