i only play vinyl my flac's are just back ups so they have authentic crackle and hiss like the vinyls have
  2. its called oldskoolgaragenutters. Full of mp3s, WAVS & FLACs. Slaneydore does most of the ripping & the others contribute as & when. Its not bad for obtaining the odd tunes that arent on your list but I do prefer buying my vinyls or CDs over the net rather than download the FLACS and WAVs. There's some pretty poor rips out there. Im pretty meticulous when it comes to quality of hearing. Quantity used to be important to me but Ive since changed my stance. Do you clean most your FLACS or do you prefer the authentic crackle & hiss effect?

none of my vinyl rips are on any website for download you may find them on a few p2p applications :) what is slaneydore site ?
  4. Are you sure most of your rips weren't taken off Slaneydore's website? I'm certain Ive seen some of these FLACS in the search results.

i dont think anyone can hear above 22,000 Hz if they could they would surely be able hear a dog whistle . when you say most common you mean rinsed commercial tracks . i never mentioned compilations you did
  7. Of course its relevant. I suggest you rip a same source file in 24 bit @ 48Khz and hear the the difference yourself, especially when you pay attention to the effects used within the source track (e.g. delay, reverb) 48Khz makes a huge difference in hearing detail as well as recording higher frequency signals way beyond 22,000 Hz! The quality no longer become coarse but instead much finer. Perhaps you should re-read my last comments in previous message as I hadnt asked you to show spec files from compilation CDs. I merely asked you to produce some of the specs on the most common garage tunes.

when it comes to playback 48khz / 24bit is not relevant. i showed you some specs as you kept asking for some they were not meant to impress , if you think showing some specs of the cheese thats on pure garage /pure silk is impressive that says it all really
  9. Why dont you be brave and actually upload some spectral rates of the most famous/common anthems that have graced the likes of Pure Garage, Pure Silk etc... and we'll see how impressive you really are!

I'm hardly impressed by the titles of some of these tracks that you have ripped off your own vinyl. If you were a real ripper you'd be ripping these in 48Khz in 24 bit FLAC. Yours is all in 16 bit 44.1Khz! ROTFL !!!!!!

About breedingbull88
Biography:
Owner of the greatest UK Garage collection on MP3 ripped directly from Vinyl and CD's - from 1992 - 2016. Predominantly, my collection heavily focuses around the era of 1996-2002 when Garage was at its rise until its decline.

Every single vinyl track is manually cleaned, noise reduced, re-cued, re-amplified and ripped into stunning listening quality. So no more excessive hisses, snap, crackles and pops through ripping.

The secret behind listening quality is down to Spectral rate analysis. I know the difference between music that has been transcoded vs the original source; the knowledge & ability to correctly rip Garage music from source to media format.

I hate transcoded music and I wish "death" upon Transcoders tricking the general public into buying false 320kbps with a top end frequency of 16Khz, instead of 20.5 Khz.

Every tune is correctly tagged, along with artist, title, year, Label, comments to explain the origin of track, Artwork in JPG, composer and original artist.

Due to the sheer size, my 6000 + tunes is only available on 5 x Blu-Ray discs.
Interests:
DJing, Motorbiking, Breeding white females within England for intention of impregnation.
